Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one Jerome Bernstein. We will remember him forever.

Jerome Martin Bernstein, 83, died Monday, October 3, 2011 in Asheville, NC. He was born November 7, 1927 and was the son of his beloved and loving parents, the late Dudley and Lenore Bernstein, originally of Lima, OH.

After military service, he earned a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the Ohio State University. After college Jerry joined his father in business at ABC Moving and Storage in St. Petersburg, FL. Jerry and his wife, Joan, also created and owned Lindlar Galleries in St. Petersburg, FL. In 1975, Jerry and Joan moved to Maggie Valley, NC where they built a craft shop called The Tower, serving as its proprietors for 15 years.

Jerry served his community as an Exchange Club member in Florida and as a 32nd degree Mason in Florida and NC, most recently as a member of Biltmore 446 lodge. Jerry also served as a volunteer at Memorial Mission Hospital's emergency room for 10 years.
